Fr Rob was born and grew up in Walsall, an industrial town in the Black Country on the northern edge of the Birmingham conurbation. After reading theology at University College Cardiff he went on to S. Stephen’s House Oxford to study for the ministry of the Church of England. He was ordained as a priest of the Church of England in 1993 and served two curacies the first at All Saints Hockerill in Bishop’sStortford and then at S. Augustine Kilburn – the famous “Anglo-Catholic Cathedral of North London”.
In 2002 he was appointed vicar of S. Margaret’s Leytonstone where he served until 2011 during which time he was made a Canon of the Diocese of Ho in Ghana. Fr Rob has always known a commitment to the unity of the Church and in 2011 he and over 90 of his parishioners were received into the Full Communion of the Catholic Church via the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. He is now Pastor of the Ordinariate Mission, which meets at S. John Vianney, as well as being the Parish Priest.
